Throughout our collaborative & personalized therapeutic work

you will learn how to manage overwhelming emotions and improve emotional balance and stability through the development of personalized coping strategies. We will work toward emotionally processing and exploring your trauma, providing a safe space for you to make sense of what you have experienced, understand its impact, and work through unresolved thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and trauma responses.

We will rebuild trust in your relationships to learn how to feel safe again in interactions with others and cultivate renewed self-trust. We will foster reconnection with your loved ones, improve communication skills, and establish meaningful, supportive relationships and sense of community with social networks of support.

We will restore your sense of safety and overcome your feelings of shame, guilt, and self-blame. We will improve your self-worth, regain your sense of self, reclaim your strengths, and define who you are beyond your trauma. You will develop new perspectives, foster a sense of purpose, find strength and meaning within your traumatic experience, and discover hope for the future.

How I Support You

I work with trauma survivors from diverse backgrounds, including military veterans, survivors of sexual assault or intimate partner violence, individuals with interpersonal trauma, as well as childhood, developmental, or complex trauma.

I specialize in providing tailored trauma treatment to adult clients (18+) through teletherapy, using scientifically-backed approaches to ensure effective, goal-oriented recovery.

I offer teletherapy services for adult residents of North Carolina. Teletherapy provides comfort, convenience, and accessibility, offering a safe, flexible, and private environment for trauma recovery.

What To Expect

  • Ready to take the first step toward healing? Schedule a free, confidential consultation call to discuss your needs and explore how therapy can support your journey. During this call, we'll get to know each other, address any questions you may have, and determine how we can best work together to help you achieve your goals. Whether you're navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or having difficulty coping with significant life challenges or transitions, I’m here to offer guidance and support.

  • Finding the right therapist is a crucial step in your healing journey. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to successful outcomes, and that's why I prioritize the "goodness of fit." During your initial consultation, we’ll explore your needs, preferences, and goals to ensure that my approach aligns with what works best for you. This collaborative process allows us to create a personalized path to healing that feels comfortable, safe, and supportive. Your well-being and positive experience during your therapy journey are my top priorities. If at any point you feel that another approach or therapist might be a better fit, I’ll happily guide you toward the resources and alternative supports that best suit your needs.

  • Once we have completed the consultation call and determined we would be a good fit to start our therapeutic work together, we will schedule the initial intake session (60 minutes). Afterward, clients are encouraged to commit to weekly individual therapy sessions (50 minutes) at the beginning of treatment as this promotes effectiveness in your therapy and ensures quality of care. Decreasing the frequency of sessions over time will be collaboratively explored based on your overall progress and meeting established treatment goals.
